Big wheels keep on turning,
carry me home to see my kin
singing songs about the southland.
I miss ole bamy once again and I think it’s a sin. Yes.

Well, I heard Mister Young sing about her.
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down.
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
a southern man don’t need him around anyhow.

Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.

In Birmingham they love the Gov’nor. Oooh hoo hoo.
Now we all did what we could do.
Now Watergate does not bother me.
Does your conscience bother you, tell the truth.

Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.

Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
and they ve been known to pick a song or two.
Lord, they get me off so much,
they pick me up when I’m feeling blue, now how about you.

Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.

Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.

KADA NEPRAVDA POSTAJE ZAKON - OTPOR POSTAJE POTREBA

Factory orders sink 4%, near 2-year low

"Orders to U.S. factories plunged by the largest amount in nearly two years in August as the credit strains began to hit manufacturing with full force.
The Commerce Department reported that orders for manufactured goods dropped by 4% in August, compared to July. That’s a much worse performance than the 2.5% decline that economists had expected. It was the biggest setback since a 4.8% plunge in October 2006."

Da izglasaju 7000000000 milijardi, ne bi im više pomoglo.

Stocks decline on unemployment, factory reports

Stocks fall on unemployment claims, factory orders data as investors fear protracted downturn

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks tumbled and credit markets remained tight Thursday after plunging factor orders and a seven-year high in jobless claims stoked fears that the government’s financial rescue plan might not be enough to ward off a recession. The Dow Jones industrials fell more than 270 points.

Investors appeared to be pulling more money out of the market and settling in for a prolonged economic winter. The main concern is that the $700 billion bailout plan won’t be enough to stimulate growth, and the latest economic reports delivered on Tuesday demonstrate that the economy continues to struggle.

The government said the number of people seeking unemployment benefits rose last week and that demand at the nation’s factories has fallen by the largest amount in nearly two years. The market is interpreting the Commerce Department report on factories as a sign that tight credit conditions are hitting manufacturers.

“The economy is what’s driving this weakness,” said Subodh Kumar, global investment strategist at Toronto-based Subodh Kumar & Associates. “I think now what’s going on is a focus on the economic weakness in a whole bunch of areas.”

Buffett says economy needs immediate help

Buffett says financial crisis is an ‘economic Pearl Harbor’ that needs immediate counterattack

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Billionaire investor Warren Buffett said the nation has been hit with an "economic Pearl Harbor," and the government must respond quickly.

Buffett talked about the nation’s ongoing financial woes in an appearance on the "The Charlie Rose Show" that aired Wednesday night on PBS stations.

"This really is an economic Pearl Harbor," Buffett said. "That sounds melodramatic, but I’ve never used that phrase before. And this really is one."

Buffett’s spokeswoman did not immediately respond to messages left Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

Buffett said the nation’s economic problems are already starting to be felt by furniture and jewelry stores such as the ones owned by Buffett’s company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

The billionaire predicts that the rest of the "Main Street" economy will start to have problems if the government’s financial bailout plan doesn’t pass Congress soon.

"In my adult lifetime, I don’t think I’ve ever seen people as fearful economically as they are now," the 78-year-old Buffett said.
