We were pleased to see significant improvement in the market rate environment late in the year, with MR average TCE levels reaching a multi-year high of $17,500 per day in late December and with even better market conditions anticipated in 2019 as the impact of IMO 2020 begins to be felt.

“The outlook for product demand is positive, supported by expected continued strong underlying oil consumption growth along with estimated global refinery capacity additions of 2.6 mill barrels per day for 2019, the largest annual increase since the 1970s. In addition, a record-low orderbook combined with expected ongoing scrapping should result in MR net fleet growth of less than 1% per annum for the next few years, setting the stage for a sustained upturn.

“Beyond these strong fundamentals, we expect a significant demand boost for product tankers commencing mid-2019 as the oil industry and shipping business respond to the IMO 2020 sulfur regulations. We expect this additional layer of product tanker demand, which some analysts expect to be 5% or more, to last up to two years until the market reaches a new equilibrium.

Five-year old clean tankers are expected to see higher
prices relative to their 2018 averages. For the LR2 space,
we forecast a 2019 average price of US $37.8 million, a
5.2% increase from the average price recorded in 2018,
while the LR1 sector is expected to see larger gains of 14%
year-on-year to average US $32.7 million. The MR2 tanker
is likely to appreciate 15% to US 30.7 million in 2019.

s obzirom na 5 taknera Uljanik plovodba može očekivati značajnije prihode u tom segmentu, a ukoliko SAD i Kina postignu dogovor što je za očekivati krajem 2 ili početkom 3 mjeseca i u bulk segmentu prijevoza će doći do porasta vozarina s obzirom da će jedan od zahtjeva SAD-a biti i značajno povećani izvoz žitarica i drugih proizvoda koji se prevoze bulkerima. Za očekivati je kako će vozarine do kraja ovog kvartala krenuti barem prema razinama s kraja 2018 godine.

Hm, preko 30. Mil $ za 5-godisnje tankere… a ulpl svojih 5 tankera i 4 za rasuti teret… vodi za cca 1 milijarda kuna imovine… cca 150 mil. $.. ok malo su stariji.. 2009-2016.. znaci 5-10 godina… ali to su isto TOP tankeri u super stanju

U prilogu podsjetnik za neke kolege koliko ULPL ima stvarno brodova u vlasnistvu, iako treba pamtit da su bulkovi u polovičnom vlasnistvu za lakši izračun imovine, prije nego vrijednosti polete u nebo.

i CHAMPION PULA je na sidrištu od 9.2.-3.3. i ne bi vjerovali u luci GLADSTONE (Australia) ako već nešto pišete onda pišite činjenično i objektivno. Nije to ništa neuobičajeno. Osim samog istovara ukoliko je potrebno obavljaju se i sitniji popravci, pa može sidrenje potrajati nešto duže od samog istovara. Ne bi me začudilo da se iza ovog vašeg nicka krije novinar Novog lista -oni naime o Uljanik plovidbi UVIJEK pišu “istinito i objektivno”.
