FOMC meeting will be uber-important. Today’s market just seems to lack an liquidity. I think most of the "market movers" are on the sideline today, and waiting meeting and speech.
FOMC meeting on Wednesday next, we can expect speculation to be powerful in light of any (remote) operations the current American interest rate.
Kaj se tiče Citija , ima malo duže bjašnjenje ,al biće i ovo dosta
Dick Bove, an analyst at Rochdale Securities, said on Monday that, "articles are still being written about the bank being too big to fail. It is no longer in that rarified group. In reality, Citigroup does not exist any longer."`
Gee. Do sellers think Citi is a dark pool, or did they see CIT bankruptcy and think they saw Citi? Some bash Citi’s potential to expand and again grow multi-billion dollar profits while there are others who interpreted Citi’s sale of its Phibro unit to Occidental Petroleum as making it a loser, which is about as senseless as making a buy or sell decision on Fed Chmn. Bernanke’s statement that rates will go up when the economy improves sufficiently. Of course the rates will go up–then. It was a say-nothing statement, yet investors react to it, or, at least, talking heads do, as though there were some trace of actionable consequence.
