China passes law to ban forced tech transfer
China passed a new law on Thursday aimed at protecting domestic intellectual property which among other things vows to ban forced technology transfer, the issue on which Beijing has been clashing with the United States within trade negotiations.
According to Director of the National Bureau of Statistics of China Ning Jizhe, under the new law, Beijing will no longer "discriminate between domestic and foreign enterprises when enforcing its intellectual property," and will also "ensure better protection for trade secrets and never allow forced technology transfer," Jizhe underlined.
The move comes as part of the efforts to seal the phase-one deal with the US and the "substantial progress" made between the two sides in a number of areas, including the heavily disputed issue of intellectual property.

Ludak…to je srž pregovora,sa ovim zakonom kinezi ce pokusati popeglati i ublaziti pregovore te smatram da ce se pregovori odvijati sa blagom dominacijom amera gdje su kinezi shvatili da je bolje onako kako se veli “Ukoliko ne mozes pobijediti protivnika rađe mu se pridruzi” te ce na taj nacin biti manje štete za njihovu ekonomiju.
