Baltic index gains on stronger capesize, panamax rates

May 22 (Reuters) – The Baltic Exchange’s main sea freight
index, which tracks rates for ships ferrying dry bulk
commodities, rose on Wednesday, lifted by higher capesize and
panamax vessel rates.
* The Baltic index, which reflects rates for
capesize,
panamax and supramax vessels, rose about 1%, or 10 points, two
1,059 points, sustaining a four-month high.
* The capesize index rose 36 points, or 2.4%, to
1,537
points.
* Average daily earnings for capesizes, which is typically
transport
170,000 tons – 180,000 tons of cargo, such as iron ore and coal,
increased by $ 170 to $ 12,301.
* The panamax index rose 10 points, or 0.8%, to
1,268
points.
* Average daily earnings for panamaxes, which usually carry
coal
or grain cargoes of about 60,000 tonnes to 70,000 tonnes, rose
$ 84 to $ 10,150.
* The supramax index inched up 1 point to 778 points

Danas se opet očekuje porast BDI-a

Capeovi u Kini značajno rastu, a i Panamaxi također nastavljaju rast

Sve raste opet… po malo, ali covjeka veseli 🙂

To je općeniti problem sa otvorenim tržištem i dionicama…
sporo rastu, ali brzo padaju…
konkretno ovdje se misli na brodarske indekse..
kod nas u hrv. je više onako spori pad,
pa čovjeka već otupi nakon nekog vremena….

Stvarno mi nije jasan ljudski jal onih koji vam lupaju minuse na
ovakav generički post sa BDI-jem, bez osobnog komentara u temi
BDI – Indikator budućnosti koja je otvorena baš za to…

Nikad mi to neće biti jasno…ok RIVP raste, super, ali bar pustite nas u ATPL
da se veselimo porastu indeksa kad dionica već ne raste…

Indeksi u Kini nastavljaju rast i danas, vjerojatno opet porast BDI-a:
