Correction? What correction ? Maybe in freight rates but not in values. It may be repetitive and almost boring but new “highes” are being achived every week. Buyers continue to believe in the future of a firm dry bulk market as seen by the price of 31,5US$mil paid for the Silver Star (43000dwt built 1984 in Japan) including a low (US$28000 per day) timecharter until August 2008 !!!!!!!! ;;-)

DryShips Inc (DRYS) opened at $71.88. So far today the stock has hit a low of $70.65 and a high of $73.247. DRYS is now trading at $69.84, up 0.17 (0.24%). After hitting a one-year high of $131.34 in October, the stock has dropped dramatically over the past month. DRYS shares are gaining with other shipping stocks as crude oil futures have been slipping this morning. Though the Consumer Confidence Index failed to meet analysts’ expectations this morning, it may not have fallen as far as some investors feared. That figure directly affects DRYS based on the demand for the transporting of goods. Technical indicators for DRYS are bullish and falling. If you’re looking for a hedged play on this stock, consider a January bull-put credit spread below the $45 range. Gledam kretanje cijena brodara ATPL i ULPL u zadnji mjesec dana. U isto vrijeme cijena im se kretala preko 3700 kn, zajedno u isto vrijeme pale na oko 2700 kn i sada skoro svaki dan približno ista cijena na tržištu. Uprave se isto tako istovremeno krcaju sa svojim dionicama.
Da nema to neke (zajedničke tajne) veze?.
